Rishikezan Nagendran
General Manager

Mr. Rishikezan Nagendran brings over 20 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, finance and human resource management across diverse sectors, including audit, agribusiness and corporate management.

He holds a BSc in Finance & Management Accounting and has spent nearly 12 years managing Human Resources within the GTV Group, where he has played a key role in developing HR policies and strengthening organisational capabilities.

He began his career as an Audit Executive in the Business Risk Services Division of Ernst & Young, gaining a strong foundation in financial controls and risk management. He subsequently served as an Account Executive at CIC Agri Business (Pvt) Ltd, further strengthening his expertise in finance and accounting operations.

Ramachandran Raguvaran
Production Manager

Mr. Ramachandran Raguvaran has over eight years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, with expertise in production management, process improvement and operational efficiency.

As Production Manager of Maharaja Foods PLC, he is responsible for overseeing production operations and ensuring that quality, productivity and operational standards are consistently maintained across the manufacturing process.

He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Colombo. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Industrial Management Technology from the University of Vocational Technology, Rathmalana, and a National Diploma in Food Processing Technology from the University College of Jaffna.

Kirubakaran Maheshwaran
Operations Manager

Mr. Kirubakaran Maheshwaran joined Maharaja Foods in 2010 as a member of the production team and has since built a career spanning more than 16 years within the organisation.

Through his extensive hands-on experience and progressive responsibilities, he has developed strong expertise in production, machinery and factory operations. His in-depth operational knowledge and longstanding association with the Company has enabled him to contribute significantly to the development and efficiency of the manufacturing activities.

In his current role as Operations Manager, he oversees production performance and operational efficiency, supporting the effective and consistent functioning of the Company’s manufacturing functions.

Chamili Selvaratnam
Finance Manager

Ms. Chamili Selvaratnam joined Maharaja Foods in 2019 and brings over nine years of professional experience in accounting, finance and auditing. As a Finance Manager of Maharaja Foods PLC, she is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial information, supporting compliance with applicable accounting standards, and contributing to the Company’s financial reporting and internal control processes.

She holds a BBA (Hons) degree from the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka and a Diploma in Information and Communication Technology (DICT) from ICBT Campus. She is currently pursuing her CIMA qualification to further strengthen her expertise in management accounting and finance.

Thejana Chameera Nilaweera
Assistant Procurement Manager

Mr. Thejana Chameera Nilaweera brings over 18 years of experience in warehouse management, procurement and logistics across a range of industries, including consumer goods, agriculture and ayurvedic products.

He holds a Diploma in Procurement and Warehouse Operations and currently serves as Assistant Procurement Manager at Maharaja Foods PLC.

Throughout his career, he has held key positions, including Stores Officer at Link Natural Products (Pvt) Ltd, Logistics Executive at the Crysbro Group, Purchasing Manager at Seetha Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, Senior Executive – Procurement & Logistics at Pasyale Ayurveda Osu (Pvt) Ltd, and Warehouse Manager at Lanka Spices (Pvt) Ltd.

Lakshan Weerasinghe
Assistant Finance Manager

Mr. Lakshan Weerasinghe is a finance and accounting professional with over 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, auditing, taxation and management across the sales and marketing, manufacturing, and hospitality sectors.

He holds a BSc in Accountancy and Finance (Special) from Rajarata University of Sri Lanka.

Prior to joining Maharaja Foods PLC, he served as an Accountant at Danisht Marketing (Pvt) Ltd and Ranki Engineering (Pvt) Ltd. He has experience in providing financial and tax consultancy services to a number of local and foreign organisations, further strengthening his practical knowledge of financial management and taxation.

K.A.M. Mirzan
Area Sales Manager

Mr. K.A.M. Mirzan brings over 14 years of experience in sales, having held positions including Area Sales Executive and Sales Representative.

A significant part of his career was built at Serendib Flour Mills (Pvt) Ltd, where he developed extensive experience and practical expertise in sales and marketing.

He holds an NVQ Level 4 qualification in Baker/Commis I, has completed a Sales Leadership Development Programme at PIMA, and holds a Diploma in Information Technology from ACE (Pvt) Ltd. His combination of industry knowledge, sales experience and technical understanding supports his role in driving sales performance and market development.

Pushpakumara Arachchige
Senior Manager – Projects & International Logistics

Mr. Pushpakumara Arachchige brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the logistics field, with expertise in project management, supply chain optimisation and international trade operations.

Throughout his career, he has managed complex freight, shipping and distribution activities, developing significant practical expertise in coordinating end-to-end logistics solutions.

As Senior Manager – Projects & International Logistics at Maharaja Foods PLC, his extensive industry experience supports the Company’s project activities, international logistics requirements and supply chain operations, contributing to greater operational efficiency and effective coordination of local and international movements.

P. L. Mary
Assistant Manager – Food Safety & Quality Assurance/R&D

Ms. P. L. Mary has over 8 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, with expertise in quality assurance, food safety, research and development, product development, process improvement, quality management systems, and audit and certification processes.

In her current role at Maharaja Foods PLC, she supports the Company’s quality assurance and food safety functions, ensures compliance with applicable quality and food safety standards, contributes to research and product development activities, and supports the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

She holds a B.Sc. Special Degree in Animal Science and Food Technology from Rajarata University of Sri Lanka and is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology at the University of Peradeniya.

Sivaji Ganeshan Manokanth
Operations Manager – Supermarket Division

Mr. Sivaji Ganeshan Manokanth brings over 18 years of experience in the retail and supermarket industry, with expertise in supermarket operations, fresh and dry categories, procurement, merchandising, inventory management, sales growth, profitability and team leadership.

Throughout his career, he has held progressive management positions with established retail organisations including LAUGFS Supermarkets, SPAR Sri Lanka and Keells Super, gaining comprehensive experience in managing end-to-end retail operations, business performance and profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities.

In his current role as Operations Manager – Supermarket Division, he is responsible for supporting the effective management and development of the Company’s supermarket operations. His strong operational knowledge, strategic approach and people-management experience contribute to improving operational efficiency, strengthening teams, enhancing business performance and supporting the sustainable growth of the supermarket division.
